James and John finished the trip with the help of an outrigger and much good luck.John takes off for Hawaii. James takes off for New York to visit the Indians in the North East. He will then head for Detroit. He has a contract to teach in the fall.
He taught in a one room school house. These are his students and him in front of the school.
